Tickets are now on sale for £35 (plus booking fee) for this year’s line-up of Christmas films which will run from the 18th until the 23rd of December at Edinburgh Airport.

Since November’s event was cancelled to adhere to COVID-19 restrictions; rescheduled Halloween favourites will also take place on the 17th.

Audiences can arrive up to 1 hour in advance to their chosen film and have the opportunity to take part in car discos, singalongs and quizzes. The soundtrack will be ‘transmitted directly to car stereos or personal radio using a specific FM Frequency.’

Up to four films are screened a day, aiming to cater to a variety of different age groups. The programme begins with Kids Club in the morning, followed by Family Favourites in the afternoon; Blockbusters in the evening; and ending with a late-night screening of Cult Classics suitable for adults.

Christmas film options include: Love Actually, Home Alone, It’s A Wonderful Life, Elf, The Polar Express and more.

Movie-goers can enjoy food and drink from a selection of local producers including Cold Town Beers and Alandas.

Drive In Movies will also be implementing hand sanitizers, social distancing and contact free food and beverage orders.

Audiences will be reminded of the necessary COVID-19 guidelines via email and onscreen.

In the event of cancellation, all tickets will be refunded.
